Parent & Child Together Programs (PACT)
The Parent and Child Programs are designed for a parent(s) and their child to attend together. The emphasis is on parent education, parent support, and an enriching shared parent-child experience. This is an opportunity for the child to explore the outside world in a safe, nurturing environment. For the parent, this is a unique time to observe his or her child in a group setting, meet new families, and explore new experiences. Classes are offered during both the fall and spring semesters. Each class varies in length. The PACT program serves families with children from birth to five years of age.
Contact Ladue Early Childhood Center at (314) 993-5724 for further information.

Parents as Teachers (PAT)
A district- and state-funded program, Ladue Parents As Teachers (PAT), is a free program offering practical assistance to parents and children from birth to three years of age. PAT provides individualized information and guidance to parents not only to enhance their children’s language, social, and motor development, but also to make parenting more rewarding and less stressful. PAT also offers screening to families with three-, four- and five-year-olds. The program is open to all district residents and includes the following:
- Personal visits with state-certified parent educators, limited to families with children in the prenatal to 3-year range.
- Developmental screening is offered to children 3-5 years of age.
- Developmental resource materials will be included with each personal visit and screening.
- Parent group meetings will be offered throughout the school year.
There are many benefits to the Parents As Teachers Program; please contact the Ladue Early Childhood Center at (314) 993-5724 or enroll online today.
